Skin Care for Different Seasons

All seasons your skin needs extra care. Winter, in particular, can be very cruel if you live in low moisture, windy weather. It loses humidity and feels rough. Dry skin then becomes chapped and sometimes can even crack and bleed. Simple skin care can also keep you free of many worries such as dry and cracked lips. Use a bit of petroleum jelly and a soft bristle toothbrush to exfoliate any dead skin from the lips. Apply vitamin E oil over them to make them seem soft and kissable. Vitamin E oil is good for your nails, hair and skin in general too. Apply coconut oil or moisturizer immediately after bath. Cracked lips and feet need white petroleum jelly.

Choose a moisturizer with sunscreen built in. Every day moisturizing with a face cream and body lotion goes a long method to keep skin feeling and looking healthy. Summer is the time when you have to take unique care of your skin. Acne is a common problem in summer, especially for people with oily skin. Change undergarments twice a day. Drink more water. Take sun protection in the form of caps, umbrella and sun-screen lotions. Use cotton clothes. Baking soda attracts excess moisture and works as an excellent deodorant. Body moisturizers with shimmer and tanning lotions are great for showing off your beautiful legs on beach.

Moisturisation is the most important part of daily skin care. Your skin needs more water than anything also and moisturizers are more required in summer when you lose most of your body salts by sweating. Take cucumber juice and watermelon juice in equal proportions and apply on face. You can cool it in the frig before use. Rose water is also a good moisturiser and it can be sprayed on the face to tone and revive it. Stay in the shade as much as possible. And wear protective clothing and plenty of sunscreen. Strive to apply sunscreen 15 to 30 minutes before stepping outside.

Sunscreen should always be re-employed after contact with water or after sweating. Sunscreen also should be worn year round--every time you leave the home. Drink lots and lots of water. Spring is the rebirth of the world and should be for you’re dried out winterized skin as well. In the spring, your skin will still initially be sensitive from the extremes of cold and wind. In monsoon seasons body remains wet. Change clothes more often. Utilize synthetic clothes. Use enough amount of talcum powder on groins, armpits, etc. Care in summer and monsoon is necessary to prevent heat boils and fungal infections.
